A little about me…
I’m a Bible believing Christian, wife, mom of 2, public speaker, lover of the Church, and a former middle school teacher. I am passionate about empowering Christians to be beacons of clarity and hope in the chaos of culture.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for words. From an early age, I would fill notebooks (even embellishing the pages of my mother’s beloved Bible) with my endless lists, plans, stories, or just assorted nonsensical doodles. This passion for words has taken on many different forms throughout the years - as a middle school ELA teacher, a youth leader discipling young women in the Word, a church staff member developing written and video resources, and as a public speaker.
As a lifelong pastor’s kid, I can say with immense gratitude that I love the Church. Though I’ve witnessed my fair share of the messiness that accompanies a gathering of broken people, I sincerely believe in the Bride of Christ. I have so much appreciation for pastors; for the faithful shepherds, diligently seeking to honor the Lord in word and deed as they guide their congregations towards truth . In the days we find ourselves in, I am passionate about empowering, equipping, and encouraging pastors and church leaders by providing resources that help disciple their communities out of the chaos of culture and into the steadiness of God’s timeless truth.
Aside from knowing Christ, my greatest joys in life are being married to my incredible husband and raising our two girls together. This season is a glorious, sleep-deprived, joyful adventure, and I could not be more honored to hold the sacred titles of wife and mother. When asked about hobbies, I always struggle to come up with an answer. I think most parents in the thick of raising young children can sympathize that this season of life leaves limited margin. But if I stumble upon a spare few moments, you can find me with a book and a cup of coffee or researching a new recipe to try. My ideal afternoon would be spent with my family, eating quality food and wandering around a small town with a local coffee in hand.
